My Background
An experienced writer with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry, I have more than ten years of experience editing and proofreading professionally and for the past three years have copy edited on a freelance basis. I am physically disabled, having had Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy since birth, and use a motorized wheelchair for mobility. I have lived throughout New York State (both in the city and upstate). for almost my whole life and now reside in Yonkers, New York along the Hudson River with my cat, Minou. In my free time I love to cook, visit museums and parks, listen to jazz, solve crossword puzzles, watch old movies, and cheer on the New York Yankees.

I have knowledge of APA, MLA, AP, and Chicago styles and am proficient with editing and formatting tools in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite.
